Whenever one thinks of platform old games, then one tends to remember the all-time favorite Alley Cat game. It is a computer game that was created by Bill Williams and published by Synapse Software in 1983 for the Atari 8-bit family and for the PC in 1984.
Alley Cat is a brilliant platform game that can be played by a single player. All you need to play this game is an Atari 8-but system and either a keyboard or a joystick. Play this game and see an alley on the main screen where the player is presented with a tall fence in front of an apartment building with many windows.
All the windows in the alley of this game open up to throw out random objects like shoes, phones etc. Moreover, every now and then a dog will cut out running to catch the cat. If the cat touches the dog, then a fight will take place and the one who kills the other wins. You play Alley Cat as a cat and jump and climb trash cans, fence and clotheslines to enter various rooms through windows.
Remember, there is a new challenge waiting in each room for the cat. Take for instance, in one room there will be a table with a birdcage and the object is to push the cage and catch the bird that escapes from the broken cage. Then, in another room, there will be a fish bowl and the cat must eat all the fish while dodging the electric eels.
Other interesting challenges in Alley Cat are some a room with a huge chunk of cheese with many holes and in hole there is a mice that the cat must catch. In another challenge, the cat must collect three ferns from the top of a bookshelf avoiding the large spider.
